I am a Zambian entrepreneur, blogger and web / software developer based in Lusaka, Zambia. I am a self-taught PHP, Perl and JavaScript programmer and WordPress guru. I have also worked on other web content management systems like TikiWiki, Drupal and Joomla. I also have skills in networking, server infrastructure management, cloud infrastructure, software installations, database design / management (especially MySQL) and social media integrations into websites.
I have worked with multiple operating systems, namely Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, SlitaZ, LinuxMint, SuSe, Mandrake), Mac OS, Windows (3.11 to Windows 10), MS-DOS, and UNIX (FreeBSD).
Some of the clients I have worked with are The Post Newspapers, Office of the Vice-President, Airtel Zambia, Finance Bank, Law Association of Zambia, Status Hi-Tech, Economics Association of Zambia, COMESA, several NGOs, etc.
I obtained by BENG from the University of Manchester in England (1993-1997) but changed careers to ICT after completing my degree. I was educated at Jacaranda Primary School, Lusaka (1979-1985), Kabulonga School for Boys, Lusaka (1986-1990) and did my Form 6 at Mpelembe Secondary School, Kitwe (1991-1993).
I am also a part-time small-scale farmer and member of the Poultry Association of Zambia. I have interests in Philosophy, Economics, Politics, Theoretical Physics, Architecture, Music, Art and Movies.
